Product Hunt is where new software gets its first real public test. You put the product in front of an audience that has seen thousands of tools, and they decide within seconds whether it solves a problem worth solving.

What ChatExports Does

ChatExports turns AI conversation exports into clean, readable files. You drop in the ZIP or JSON export from your AI platform and get back Word, Markdown, and PDF documents for every conversation.

It supports ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Poe, Grok, Copilot, NotebookLM, and Google AI Studio.

Everything runs locally in the browser. No conversation data is uploaded to a server, which matters when the conversations contain client details, pricing logic, or internal process notes.

Pricing is one time. Ten dollars for a single platform, twenty five dollars for all of them. No subscription.

Why We Built It

People are making real decisions inside AI chat tools. They are drafting scopes, working through pricing, debugging processes, and writing policies. Then that thinking sits locked inside a chat interface with no clean way to archive it, search it, or hand it to someone else.

That is a workflow problem, not an AI problem. It is the same category of problem we solve for construction companies every day: the work is happening, but the record of the work is trapped somewhere useless.

So we built the tool we wanted to exist. Browser based, private by default, no recurring fee, and fast enough that the whole job takes under a minute.

What the Launch Looked Like

Launching on Product Hunt forces clarity. You get one line to explain the product, a handful of images, and a single day of attention. Ours was straightforward: own your AI conversations before you lose them.
